DELTA Lead Based Paint Handheld XRF Analyzers test for Lead (Pb) in seconds. These reliable, tube-based units are light in weight and ergonomically designed for all-day testing. They start fast and stay fast - no isotope fade. And, they have a low total cost of ownership. Before you begin industrial repair - grinding, cutting or painting - screen for Pb; then, check your work area after clean-up. The Handheld XRF configured specifically for Industrial Lead-Based-Paint analysis is the DELTA Classic and is referred to as the DC4000LP. For information on the HUD PCS LBP4000 Alpha Residential Lead Based Paint Handheld XRF Analyzer, please contact us.
See and feel the DELTA difference. Our analyzers are compact and robust from probe to trigger to display, with sophisticated XRF technology that's better, faster, and more responsive. From initial boot-up to the final result, the DELTA is the optimum solution for all your analytical needs. The DELTA line gives you the ultimate experience in field-portable handheld XRF analysis, providing fast measurements with accuracy, precision, detection limit, and light element measurement capabilities built into a compact single-chasis frame wrapped in robust industrial-grade body casing.
The unique DELTA Docking Station means not ever having to power down the analyzer. The station charges the analyzer battery and a spare, and performs periodic calibration checks. The analyzer can be removed at anytime for immediate testing.

Ideally suited for field work, the DELTA is equipped with our trademark weatherproof, dust proof, protective housing.
Optional Hip/Leg Holster for easy access and transport
Engineered with advanced technology, yet so simple to use. The intuitive user interface makes navigation easy for both non-technical and more advanced operators.
Our high-precision analyzers dramatically reduce testing times allowing hundreds more tests per day with a significant confidence in lead analysis on varied painted surfaces. Within seconds, these analyzers can detect lead when and where you need it and report the results as surface area concentrations as well as positive or negative based on preset values. The Analyzers can be programmed with a Fixed Time or Set Action Level End Condition. NIST Standards are available for Portable XRF Lead Paint Surface Analysis.

Enjoy a long term relationship with your DELTA Handheld XRF. Olympus Innov-X is the only handheld XRF manufacturer to offer a truly upgradeable platform. As your analysis needs change, the performance features of your existing DELTA can be incrementally increased as well.
Combining a large area, high performance Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) and a 4W optimized x-ray tube, the DELTA Premium with the tantalum (Ta) or gold (Au) tube configuration is the ideal solution for ultra quick, analytically demanding applications with superior detection limits for the elements phosphorus (P) through uranium (U). The DELTA Premium with the rhodium (Rh) tube configuration is ideal for superior detection limits for light elements magnesium (Mg), aluminum (Al) and silicon (Si) as well as excellent detection limits for P through U.
Combining a Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) and a 4W optimized Ta or Au X-ray tube provides excellent speed and detection limits for P through U, the new standard in handheld XRF is the DELTA Professional model for Lead Paint Analysis is referred to as DS-4000.
Combining a SiPIN detector with a 4W optimized Ta or Au X-ray tube, our DELTA Classic Plus is a high tech, flexible analyzer for typical XRF analysis for measuring P through U.
The DELTA Element is the most affordable unit in the Olympus line-up of handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers designed for fast, accurate results. Fast, simple and reliable, the DELTA Element incorporates the features and rugged design of the DELTA family. With fast elemental ID for screening, sorting and metal analysis, the DELTA Element provides fast ROI for Scrap, PMI, QA / QC and Jewelry / Precious Metals applications.
The Handheld XRF configured for Lead-Based-Paint analysis is the DELTA Classic and is referred to as the DC4000LP. However, the Lead-Based-Paint mode can be added to either the DELTA Premium and DELTA Standard. Many Lead Paint inspectors are now required to test dust wipes and filters for lead residue as well as the soil in the vicinity of the painted surface, such as windows and doors. Consequently, the DELTA Classic, Standard or Premium can be configured with soil, filter, dustwipe and lead paint analysis to suit the inspection project needs.
All DELTA models come with the following Standard Accessories
The following optional DELTA Accessories are also available.
Fully shielded, rugged test stand for benchtop or remote controlled testing.(NOTE: Advanced PC Software is Included)
Attaches to handle of DELTA analyzer, balancing analyzer on ground for hands-free testing.
Olympus Innov-X's Handheld XRF Lead Paint analyzers provide a better way to identify the presence of lead paint on multiple surfaces prior to repair, restoration or painting. The software-based proximity sensor enables easy measurements on uneven surfaces. With no radioactive sources, the analyzer eliminates isotope loss of speed, high replacement costs, and post-9/11 regulatory restrictions.
Olympus Innov-X Handheld XRF analyzers have been chosen repeatedly by US Customs, FDA, EPA, DOE, international customs agencies, and certified independent testing companies to rapidly screen and analyze for regulated toxic metals including lead (Pb) due to its fast, non-destructive, and on-the-spot testing capabilities
